Youth Summer Camp Attendants

Job Summary

The Athletic Club of Bend hosts youth summer camps through the summer, mid June through end of August, for kids ages 5-10 years old. The camp day is from 9-3 and includes 40-65 kids per day. Work hours are 8:30am-3:15pm Monday through Friday with flexibility to work 2-5 days a week. Activities during the camp day include gym games, outdoor games, arts/crafts, tennis and pool time in the afternoon. Interviews will be taking place in May.

Essential Job Functions

Must present a professional image and possess conflict resolution skills, and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.

Engage with kids on a daily basis in playing games, swimming and helping with art projects.

Monitors the children to ensure safety; communicates with parents; takes and records attendance; maintains sanitary conditions; organizes program supplies.

Ability to lead group games, art projects, and transitions between activities.

Requirements

-Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid Certificate before the start of camps.
